How we install drip in Anaheim yards
- Zone it at the valve. Drip runs at low pressure through a filter and regulator. Mixing drip and spray on one zone is the classic mistake we undo.
- Size emitters to the plant. A tomato pot and a young magnolia do not drink alike. Flow rates match the plant, and the timer runs drip zones longer and less often.
- Bury or pin the lines cleanly. Under mulch in the beds, pinned on slopes, out of sight and out of the string trimmer's reach.
- Program the controller. Set for clay soil absorption and the plants on the line, with seasonal adjustment so winter does not run a summer schedule. Repairs to the rest of the system happen through our sprinkler repair service.

Is drip irrigation worth it in Anaheim?

Can you convert my existing sprinklers to drip?

Does drip work on slopes?
It is the best option for them. On the hillside lots around Anaheim Hills and Villa Park, spray runs off before it soaks in. Drip applies water slowly enough for the slope to take it, which is why every hillside planting we do gets drip.
How long does drip irrigation last?
Good tubing and emitters run for years with basic care: a filter clean now and then and a walk-through for chewed or clogged lines. We can fold that check into regular maintenance visits.
