Some stumps are from our own tree removals the same week; plenty are inherited, an old cut from a previous owner in a Fullerton or West Anaheim yard. Either way, once it is ground the spot usually becomes new lawn or a planting bed, and if you want a tree back we do tree planting a smarter distance from the house. Regular tree trimming keeps the rest of the yard's trees from ending up as the next stump.

Price follows the diameter of the stump, how deep you need it ground, and access to the spot. A single front-yard stump is a quick visit; several stumps or a backyard with a narrow gate takes longer. We measure and give you a firm price for free.
Grinding, almost always. Full stump removal means digging the root ball out, which tears up the yard and costs multiples of grinding. Ground 8 to 12 inches below grade, the spot takes sod, plants or a paver path with no sign a tree was there.
Most residential stumps in Anaheim are done within the hour once the machine is on the spot. Wide or hardwood stumps take longer.
Yes, once the grindings are cleared and the hole is backfilled with soil. We usually shift a new tree a few feet off the old spot so it roots into fresh ground. We handle the replanting too.
